March 29, 2016 – In Hong Kong visiting the harbor, Aberdeen, Stanley, Victoria Peak etc

We docked at the new Passenger Port which used to be the airport and greeted by a band

We then went to the harbour and boarded a junk to cruise around the harbour until we got to Central.

The junk we were on, above and various boats and sights from the water

Queen Mary 2 berthed at the old airport, now a cruise port

The convention center where the handover from the British to the Chinese took place.

The Queen Victoria was also in town moored in Kowloon

The Mandarin hotel in Central District where we disembarked the Junk.

The home of a wealthy local

Victoria Peak structure where we got on the roof for a panoramic view

The train funicular that goes to the top as an alternate to the road

Bamboo Scaffolding

Aberdeen where we boarded a Sampan and took a trip around that harbour to see all the homes and restaurants floating in the harbour on boats

The Jewelry factory we visitied

Stanley Market above and The Jockey Club below

About to depart, but before we walked on the roof of the terminal made into a garden to get another look of the harbour. All inside the building these raised dots and dashes are used to help the visually impaired to get around.
