Tuesday January 22, 2019 – The adventure begins. Today, my wife Anne and I embark on out new adventure to Singapore and from there to Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), The (India owned) Andaman Islands and Sri Lanka, with my cousin Judy Barrow.
January 22, 2019 – Anne and Roger fly from New York to Frankfurt and then to Singapore arriving on January 24. Judy leaves from London on January 23 and arrives in Singapore also on January 24.

The speakers on this lecture cruise are:-
Nigel Cox is a former British diplomat with extensive Asian expertise. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin (degrees in History & Politics and Law)
Olivia Cox is also a former British diplomat who has travelled extensively in Asia and Europe and speaks fluent French and Spanish and basic Chinese.
U Ye Htut has been Visiting Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies Htut, Institute of Southeast Asian Studies & Yusof Ishak Institute Singapore and has been Visiting Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.
Sandy Primrose MBE is a biologist by training and has degrees from the University of Strathclyde and the University of California.
Robert H. Taylor, born and educated in the United States, has taught South East Asian politics at universities in Sydney, Hong Kong, and London.
