Saturday January 18th, & Sunday January 19, 2020 – Orlando to Fort Lauderdale
We departed Orlando after a fun two days in the Disney entertainment venues, headed for Delray Beach where we visited with our friends – Enid & Andoni. We had a fun evening chatting over old times going back several decades and enjoyed a crab cake and salad dinner at home.
On Sunday some went to church after which we enjoyed a fun BBQ in the Solupe home with Enid’s mother (96) and son also their cousin & wife as well as María Fernandez, an old CitiBank friend. We left late and made our way to the Hilton Marina in Fort Lauderdale overnight.
Monday January 20th, 2020 – In and around Fort Lauderdale.
We had a very nice lunch with Peggy Paterson (86) at Oceans 234 Restaurant in Deerfield Beach. After which we found a hearing aid place to get my right “ear” repaired, before returning to Ft. Lauderdale to meet John and Lolita Marquard for a nice dinner at Grille 66 as the venture for the four of us is to start tomorrow. Diana and Nelson were supposed to be joining us on the South American Adventure, but unfortunately due to illness, they had to cancel. Thus the 6 became 4 of us.
