Thursday January 23, 2025 – At Sea between Miami, FL and Cartagena Colombia
Another day at sea with a Port presentation by Graham on Puerto Quetzal, which was mostly focused on Antigua Guatemala, the old Capital that was destroyed by an earthquake, and now re-built as a colonial city and the new Capital of Guatemala City. Next was another lecture on Cartagena and the colonial architecture and after a siesta in the afternoon, we enjoyed a nice dinner at Ají Wa (place of fine food) where our old friend Katia (Ekaterina) was “doing her thing” explaining the joys of the different types of Sake. An early night as we have to be up early for the 1/2 day tour and stay in Cartagena, Colombia.
