This is the planned schedule for the trip:
Feb 4 – London to Kuala Lumpur, change planes and on to Hanoi
Feb 5 – Arrive Hanoi – Hanoi Sunway Hotel
Feb 6 – City tour including Hoan Kiem Lake, Quan Thanh Temple, Temple of Literature, Ancient Quarter, BA Dinh Square (Ho Chi Min Mausoleum) One Pillar Pagoda and the Water Puppet Show. Hanoi Sunway Hotel
Feb 7 – Full day to Halong Bay with 4 hour boat ride and visit to vast cave. Hanoi Sunway Hotel
Feb 8 – Fly to Hue former Vietnam Capital, then visit Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking Perfume River, visit Royal Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Park View Hotel
Feb 9 – Hue – visit Citadel, Noon Gate, Royal Palace, Flag Platform, Cruise along the Perfume River, Visit Cham Museum (7th to 15th Century items), Marble Fountain, China Beach. Travel to Hoi An. Hoi An Beach Hotel.
Feb 10 – Walking tour of Hoi An with Japanese Bridge, 200 year old merchant house, bicycle tour of countryside. Hoi An Beach Hotel.
Feb 11 – Excursions to monuments at My Son (religious centre in Champa Kingdom) power seat from 7th to 19th centuries. Hoi An Beach Hotel
Feb 12 – Fly to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Eden Hotel
Feb 13 – tour of Saigon with Presidential Palace, War Museum, Cathederal, Shopping Street Rue Catinat, Drive to Cu Chi Tunnels. Eden Hotel
Feb 14 – Travel to Mekong Delta, Board Boat at Cairo Be, cruise through canals, lunch at farmer’s house visiting workshops, Continue by boat to Can Tho. Victoria Can Tho Hotel.
Feb 15 – boat trip to floating market at Cairo Rang. Drive to Chau Doc, board boat for trip along Mekong River to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Sunway Hotel.
Feb 16 – Royal Palace at Phnom Penh. Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Russian Market, Wat Phnomwith. Dinner at Correspondents Club. Sunway Hotel.
Feb 17 – Flight to Siem Reap and start visit of Angkor Wat Complex. Angkor Paradise Hotel.
Feb 18 – Continue visit of Angkor Wat Complex. Angkor Paradise Hotel.
Feb 19 – Continue visit of Angkor Wat Complex. Drive to Tonie Sap Lake, boat trip to floating villages. Dinner with display of Khmer Classical Dance. Angkor Paradise Hotel.
Feb 20 – fly Siem Reap to Kuala Lumpur then to London.
Feb 21 – Arrive London
